North Boardway Pipeline Relocation Project

The North Broadway Pipeline Relocation Project will improve the District's water distribution system by replacing aging water pipelines with a new 12-inch pipeline, increasing reliability, capacity, and compliance with current drinking water standards.

The project includes relocating an existing 10-inch pipeline near Reidy Creek and replacing portions of an existing 8-inch pipeline along North Broadway. Construction will utilize a combination of horizontal directional drilling beneath Reidy Creek to minimize environmental impacts and traditional trenching methods where appropriate. The new pipeline alignment has been designed to protect sensitive environmental resources, improve system efficiency, and maintain the required separation from existing sewer infrastructure in accordance with California Division of Drinking Water regulations.

Once completed, the project will provide a continuous 12-inch water main, enhancing service reliability for customers while supporting future water system needs.
